Save the date to give our work a taste and celebrate harvest season with us! OSA’s annual Community Field Day & Tasting will be held on September 14, 2020. The event celebrates the 6th annual harvest at our Washington research site, which serves as the hub of OSA’s Pacific Northwest organic plant breeding, seed education, and variety trial projects.
We’ll take a close look at OSA’s research in the field and taste varieties from current trials. Join us to celebrate harvest season and discuss the importance of regional seed systems and why increasing access to organic seed is important to farmers, the communities they feed, and the environment.
The Community Field Day & Tasting is free and open to the public. RSVPs are encouraged and we’ll be accepting them starting in mid-summer.
