It’s up to a handful of sugar beet seed companies to come clean to farmers about the state of conventional seed: “In the year that has passed since [Judge] White’s initial ruling, nothing has been revealed about the conventional [sugar beet] seed stocks that might exist. It’s possible it’s readily available.”
