Join OSA’s California Research & Education Specialist Jared Zystro, at the 13th Annual Humboldt Seed and Plant Exchange on March 27th, 2011 from 11a – 3p. The Humboldt Permaculture Guild and the Manila Teenship Wellness Village Resource Center present the 13th Annual Seed and Plant Exchange. Come swap rare and locally grown seeds, starts, and plants; attend workshops; hear live music; and take part in a raffle of great local goods. Attend workshops on permaculture, seed saving, and more. Don Tipping of Siskiyou Seeds will share tips on producing seed from a variety of vegetables and George Stevens of Synergy Seeds will demonstrate seed cleaning techniques. Other event speakers include Jared Zystro from Organic Seed Alliance, Susan Ornelas, mayor of Arcata, and Jessica Bittner. Come hungry and enjoy food provided by the Teenship Wellness Village. This event is free and all are welcome.
