OSA is a proud new member of the National Organic Coalition (NOC), a national alliance of organizations working to provide a “Washington voice” for farmers, ranchers, environmentalists, consumers and progressive industry members involved in organic agriculture. NOC continues to show leadership on important organic integrity issues, and in 2010 published the National Organic Action Plan — a culmination of meetings over the course of five years that engaged diverse stakeholders in envisioning the future of organic. The report provides a valuable organic policy agenda for the next decade and beyond. Find this and other resources at www.nationalorganiccoalition.org.
Kristina (Kiki) Hubbard is the director of advocacy and communications for Organic Seed Alliance. She currently leads efforts to promote policies and actions that support organic seed systems, including managing OSA’s State of Organic Seed project.
