Business Member Spotlight: Mountain Rose Herbs

As part of our Business Member Spotlight series, we’re thrilled to recognize our partnership with Mountain Rose Herbs, a longtime supporter of OSA both as an Organic Seed Growers Conference sponsor and now a business member. (Learn more about our new business membership program here.)

Mountain Rose Herbs is known for its commitment to organic agriculture, sustainable business practices, and a steadfast focus on providing high-quality botanical products. Among the company’s core beliefs is that people, plants, and the planet are more important than profit. The company takes pride in quality and sustainable packaging, and in fair trade practices and watershed conservation.

They’re also committed to organic seed research, education, and advocacy to ensure a diverse and resilient seed supply that meets our food and wellness needs. Director of Sustainability Alyssa Lawless shares that independent research and farmer education is crucial to the future of organic production: “Mountain Rose Herbs relies on organizations like OSA for information about organic and non-GMO seed varieties and producers,” she says. “We’re a proud supporter working to weave a network of organic growers, seed savers, and ethical companies.”

Learn more here about Mountain Rose Herbs and their range of offerings, including bulk herbs and spices, aromatherapy and essential oils, tea and tea supplies, and natural health and body products.
