Join Us for the California Field Day on October 4th

California friends, register below to join Organic Seed Alliance for a field day on Monday, October 4th! Seed producers, vegetable growers, and eaters will gather to discuss seed education, dry farming and low water application techniques, breeding for flavor, and more! Tour the fields of Seed rEvolution Now in Pescadero and enjoy a tasting of local vegetable varieties. Please plan for the weather as this is an entirely outdoor event.

Masks are required and all participants are expected to follow OSA’s COVID protocols.

Event Schedule

12 pm – 2 pm | Seed Production Education
Learn about how to get started in organic seed production

2 pm – 4 pm | Tomato Breeding for Low Water Applications Discussion
Hear updates about the Student Collaborative Organic Plant Breeding Education (SCOPE) and TOSA breeding projects, and how you can get involved

4 pm – 6 pm | Regional Variety Tasting
Get a chance to taste some exciting new and heirloom varieties from the California Region
