Register below to join us for the Hawai’i Organic Seed Summit this March 25 – 26, 2022 in Organic Seed Commons. The free virtual gathering will be an opportunity for those already involved in and those wanting to get involved in the local seed movement in Hawai’i. We’ll come together to learn about work going on across the islands, as well as training and support opportunities both locally and nationally.
This event will build upon OSA’s Organic Seed Growers Conference (Feb. 4 – 11, 2022), and allow local discussions and planning to continue to help strengthen Hawaii’s local seed systems.
The gathering is open to all and appropriate for both those new to seed and those experienced in seed saving. Over the course of two afternoons we’ll hear from networks of seed growers, local plant breeders, and educators. The Summit is a collaborative effort by GoFarm Hawai’i, the Hawaii Seed Growers Network, and Organic Seed Alliance.
We’ll be joined by Glenn Teves from CTAHR Extension, Hawaii Seed Growers Network, Michael Kantar from CTAHR, Tyler Levine from SEEDS of Honua, and participants from the virtual Organic Seed Production course 2021.
