Registration Closed for the 11th Organic Seed Growers Conference

UPDATED February 12, 2022

Join organic and agroecological seedheads from across the US and world for the 11th Organic Seed Growers Conference! Registration is on a sliding scale and can be completed at any time during the event (Feb. 4 – 11, 2022). The full program of events can be found here, which includes roundtables, panels, demonstrations, farm tours, lightning talks, art and music, regional meet-ups, keynote presentations, and celebration. 

The 2022 conference is being held virtually on the Organic Seed Commons platform and includes both live and pre-recorded content, as well as plenty of opportunities for participants to network and skill-share with one another.

Cost

This is the first time we’ve been able to offer registration fees on a sliding scale for the Organic Seed Growers Conference. We invite you to learn alongside us if this is new to you, too.

Each category includes descriptors to help you select the ticket level that suits you best. This is on the honor system. We’re not asking you to share your answers!

Seed ($120)Sow ($60)Sprout ($30)Seedling (Free)

Seed ($120)

Consider this option if you are attending on behalf of your organization/business that has an operating budget over $1 million.

OR are attending as an individual and have a relatively high degree of wealth.

OR simply want to support this conference at the highest level.

Sow ($60)

Consider this option if you are attending on behalf of your organization/business that has an operating budget under $1 million.

OR are attending as an individual and have a relatively moderate degree of wealth.

Sprout ($30)

Consider this option if you are a self-supported farmer or student.

OR are undercompensated for your work.

Seedling (Free)

Consider this option if you are attending as an individual and cost is a significant barrier to your participation.

Cathleen McCluskey

Cathleen McCluskey is the Executive Director at Organic Seed Alliance. Her interdisciplinary research on the ways in which context influences the relationship between humans and seed helps guide the organization in further stewarding equitable, inclusive programs rooted in participatory methodologies and aimed at putting the power of seed in the hands of growers.

Request for Proposals are LIVE!

In 2027, we will have separate In-person (March 26th & 27th) and Virtual (March 30th & 31st) components, providing an interactive agenda of workshops, demonstrations, farm tours, lightning talks, art, seed swaps, affinity spaces, keynote presentations, and of course – celebration!
