As part of our Business Member Spotlight series, we’re excited to recognize our partnership with Cambridge Pacific as a new business member. (Learn more about our business membership program here.)
Cambridge Pacific — a world-class supplier of specialty seed packets, pockets and labels — has come a long way since its humble beginnings in an old chicken coop between cornfields in Cambridge, New York. Today it utilizes state-of-the-art, sheet-fed offset, roll offset, and digital imaging to meet your seed packaging needs.
Printing to GRACol standards using the G7 methodology, Cambridge Pacific makes plates using Heidelberg Suprasetters and prints on Heidelberg offset presses and web offset presses. Pressmen constantly measure dots, tonal values and densities while producing images, whether digitally or lithographically.
Each of the company’s seed packet-makers averages more than 10 years of dedication to the craft. At times, three generations of one family have worked at the company. Cambridge Pacific strives to be environmentally responsible, accountable, and timely, and is “big enough to serve you, but small enough to know you as a customer.”
Organic Seed Alliance is delighted to welcome Cambridge Pacific as one of our newest Business Members. Of OSA, company representative Phil Jordan wrote: “In an ever-changing world where the roots of agriculture often diverge, we feel it important to support Organic Seed Alliance in its encouragement of healthy living, healthy growing, the environment, and future generations of vegetables, plants (and people) yet to come.”
