Registration Now Open for the 12th Organic Seed Growers Conference!

Artwork by Carmen Kelly

Hello, seed enthusiasts! OSA is thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the 12th Organic Seed Growers Conference, taking place from February 26 to March 1, 2025, in Corvallis, Oregon. This year’s event promises to be our most dynamic yet, as we embrace a hybrid format that combines the best of both worlds – in-person connections and virtual accessibility. After our last in-person gathering in 2020 and a successful online event in 2022, we’re eager to bring the seed community back together face-to-face while also offering virtual options.

Join us for four days of learning, sharing, visioning, and celebration of seed. The program, currently in development, will feature something for everyone, from beginners to experienced seed stewards. The event kicks off with pre-conference intensives from February 26-27, including an all-Spanish language seed intensive, a farm tour showcasing seed production in the Willamette Valley, and an Intellectual Property Rights on Seed Symposium. The main conference, taking place February 28th and March 1st, will feature a rich array of keynote presentations, panel discussions, roundtables, research presentations, posters, virtual farm tours, lightning talks, and more.

This gathering is being brought to you through stellar teamwork. Our amazing planning committee has been working collaboratively to create an event that reflects the diverse needs and interests of the seed community. Their dedication, combined with the wealth of proposals we’ve received (over 120!), has us truly excited for the forthcoming program. We understand that opportunities to gather and network are sometimes few and far between. With that in mind, the planning team is also creating open-forum opportunities to connect with each other through features like synergy spaces and an always-popular seed swap.

Whether you’re a seasoned seed grower, a curious beginner, or somewhere in between, the Organic Seed Growers Conference offers something for everyone. Visit the link below to secure your spot. On the registration page, you can choose to attend in person in Corvallis or join virtually through the Organic Seed Commons and Zoom platforms. Join us as we come together to celebrate, learn, and grow the organic seed movement. We can’t wait to see you in Corvallis or online this February!
