OSA Welcomes New Assistant Director of Policy & Advocacy

OSA is pleased to announce the newest staff member to our team. Milo Petruziello joins us as our Assistant Director of Policy & Advocacy. Milo will play a critical leadership role in advancing Organic Seed Alliance’s mission through our national policy and advocacy program.

Milo has spent his career at the grassroots of the organic movement supporting farmers. In his 13 years at Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA), Milo served as Events Director and Policy Director. He was one of the primary organizers of 12 OEFFA conferences and led the organization’s policy program as it campaigned for state soil health policy, continuous improvement to the National Organic Program, and federal farm programs that support small and organic farmers and the communities they feed.

Milo has a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Ohio State University and a Master of Arts Management from the University of Oregon. He still works as a gigging musician, and you can find him playing guitar, lap steel, and pedal steel in various venues around his native Columbus, Ohio. As a musician, he believes that seeds do more than feed us; they, like the music we make and enjoy together, embody the story of who we are.
