Join Organic Seed Alliance, CR Shively, Aquilli Metzli, and Humboldt Permaculture Guild on September 12th from 10am – 5pm at the CR Shively Farm to celebrate the 2026 California Field Day! This event is being held for farmers, seed growers, backyard gardeners, and the agricultural community to learn about organic vegetable seed production, plant breeding projects, seed saving, local food, and local/regional growing conditions.
Plan Your Day:
- 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, volunteer at Aquilli Metzli’s field workday to support their Milpa project
- 12:00 – 5:00 pm: Free snacks/drinks, local produce variety tasting, arts and crafts, educational resources, and more!
- 12:30 – 1:30 pm Field Tour #1
- 2:00 – 3:00 pm Seed Cleaning Demonstration
- 3:30 – 4:30 pm Field Tour #2
