Join OSA’s Southern California Seed Hub Saturday, April 7th, at the Bancroft Center for Sustainability for a day-long commercial seed production workshop. Learn seed production basics, including harvesting and cleaning practices with hands-on equipment demonstrations. Workshop presenter Steve Peters of OSA brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from his lifelong career in the organic seed industry. In addition, Brijette Pena will share her experiences as a small seed company owner focused on building a hyperlocal seed system based in San Diego, CA. This program is made possible thanks to the California Specialty Crop Block Grant Program.
