Seed Saving Workshop with the Humboldt Permaculture Guild & OSA

Calling all backyard gardeners and seed growers! Come learn the basics of seed saving at a fun workshop on Sunday, September 14th, from 12:30 – 3:00 pm (PDT) with Humboldt Permaculture Guild (HPG) and Organic Seed Alliance (OSA). It will be hosted in the school gardens at Redwood Coast Montessori (793 K Street, Arcata, CA 95521). Levon Durr (HPG Board President) and Molly Travis (OSA California Program Associate) will co-present the basics of seed saving, covering topics like harvesting, cleaning, and storing seeds from common garden plants and agricultural crops. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided during breaks. OSA would like to acknowledge the support of USDA for this event.
