April 14, 2022
3:00 – 4:00p CT / 4:00 – 5:00 ET | Organic Seed Commons

This is the first session in a new series of informal virtual meet-ups for Midwestern seed growers and community members to exchange knowledge, share stories, and ask questions to a group of their peers. We’ll meet in Organic Seed Commons. The goal is to help organic seed growers in the region navigate and overcome the challenges of seed production. The first topic we will discuss is biennial seed crop over-wintering, including methods for protecting/storing plants through winter and for re-planting or uncovering plants in the spring.

Notes will be taken during the meeting and a collection of resources will be shared out afterwards, though the session will not be recorded.
