On-Farm Organic Research Field Day in Pescadero, CA

Join Organic Seed Alliance’s Steve Peters for our 1st annual Pescadero On-Farm Organic Research Field Day on September 23rd, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Come on out to tour and learn about the many exciting organic seed projects that OSA and The Mushroom Farm are collaborating on in Pescadero. The day will feature a tour and in-field presentation on an extensive on-farm organic tomato breeding project that’s in its second year. We’ll also have the opportunity to tour several types of seed production crops, including beans, cucumber, broccoli, Chinese cabbage, and, summer and winter squash.

This event is free and open to the public thanks to support from Gaia Fund.

Cathleen McCluskey

Cathleen McCluskey is the Executive Director at Organic Seed Alliance. Her interdisciplinary research on the ways in which context influences the relationship between humans and seed helps guide the organization in further stewarding equitable, inclusive programs rooted in participatory methodologies and aimed at putting the power of seed in the hands of growers.
