Seed Swap and Seed Saving Workshop

10 am to 2 pm | WSU Extension Classroom | 97 Oak Bay Rd | Port Hadlock, WA

Jefferson County Master Gardeners invite experienced seed savers and new gardeners to share seeds and learn to save them. Come with or without open-pollinated vegetable, herb or flower seeds to share. Master Gardeners and OSA staff will lead seed saving demonstrations, and Michael “Skeeter” Pilarski will sell herbs and seeds. The new Seed Library will be open for borrowing during the event. This event is free and pre-registration is not required.

Cara Loriz

Cara Loriz is OSA's executive director. Before joining OSA, she led the start-up of Sylvester Manor Educational Farm, an organic farm on Shelter Island, New York. Cara holds degrees in geology and technical writing, and taught environmental science and geology in California, Utah, and Ohio.
