Join the BIPOC Farming Network for their May roundtable focused on the Farm Bill with special speakers Celeste Treece of Ag Noire, Jonathan McCrackin, the state director for Ohio USDA, and Wes King with U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown’s office.

The discussion will be led by Celeste Treece, a political strategist and founder of Ag Noire, the statewide Urban Agricultural Lobby Day at the Ohio statehouse. In 2022, the group of urban BIPOC farmers addressed food redlining and supply chain issues in the state’s underserved communities. As the founder of CommEN Strategies, a minority women-owned consulting firm, Ms. Treece specializes in community engagement. She directed various campaigns ranging from statewide to county and local levels. Currently, the firm’s focus is on environmental justice initiatives.
