Cultivating Transformation Through Organic Seed

We envision a world where seed grows an equitable, abundant, and resilient future of food—a future cultivated through transformation of our agricultural systems.

The need for organic seed has never been more crucial. From climate change to seed privatization, from declining biodiversity to socioeconomic challenges facing seed stewards, the obstacles are significant. But together, we can create meaningful change. Organic Seed Alliance is dedicated to putting the power of seed back into the hands of farmers and communities.

Your support powers transformation. Together, we can ensure an abundant and diverse supply of organic seed, tended in perpetuity by skilled, diverse, and interconnected communities of seed stewards. Your contributions will advance our core programs:

  1. Research: Collaborative crop improvement and seed production research for organic systems, including our landmark State of Organic Seed report—the only comprehensive monitoring of organic seed systems in the U.S.
  2. Education: Empowering farmers through programs like our Organic Seed Production Course and hands-on workshops, teaching essential skills for seed saving and plant breeding.
  3. Advocacy: Strengthening organic seed systems through policy work, including our leadership in developing the first Policy Platform for Seed and ongoing engagement with the Farm Bill and National Organic Program.
  4. Connection: Organizing vital gatherings like the 2025 Organic Seed Growers Conference—North America’s largest organic seed convening—where seed stewards share knowledge and build community.

Give today to cultivate transformation in our food system through organic seed.
