This report is the result of a variety trial conducted in 2015 and 2016 by Organic Seed Alliance and Pinnacle Organic Farm in northern San Benito County near Hollister, California. The trial included 17 yellow storage globe onion varieties, 7 red storage globe onion varieties, and 7 miscellaneous types that were grown and evaluated for their degree of maturity, yield, presence of double bulbs, skin quality, neck closure, presence of disease, and storagability.
