California Organic Sweet Pepper Variety Trial 2014-2015

This report is the result of a variety trial conducted in 2014 and 2015 by Organic Seed Alliance and Pinnacle Organic Farm located in northern San Benito county near Hollister, California. The trial included 14 varieties of sweet peppers (2 elongated bell types and 12 red Italian frying or stuffing types) that were grown and evaluated for their fresh yield, canopy cover, storagability, and flavor traits. The report includes trial materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and a photo gallery.
