2017 Annual Report
In 2017, OSA’s programs resulted in more research projects, educational events, and advocacy initiatives than ever before:
- We trained hundreds of seed growers and other seed advocates in the field, classroom, and via live webinar.
- We launched a new website and publication library to make it easier for our community to find the seed resources they need.
- Our advocacy team advanced constructive policy proposals that will expand organic seed systems at the regional and national level.
- Our research collaborations are growing the genetic diversity of our seed supply while giving farmers the varieties they need to farm organically and feed their communities.
All of these efforts support a sustainable food future built on a foundation of organic seed. Read many more highlights from 2017 below, and then join our efforts by signing up for organic seed updates or donating today.
