You Can Impact the Farm Bill in One Easy Step

UPDATE 6/8/18

Thanks to your help, the Senate Agriculture Committee’s draft Farm Bill includes a much-needed funding increase to organic research! If one of your senators serves on the Senate Agriculture Committee, please consider getting back in touch with them to say thank you. There were other wins in this bill as well. Read this overview from the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition.

—

Thanks to your efforts, we were successful in defeating the House Farm Bill last month, which failed to support a sustainable food and farming future. But the story is not over. As we await the next version in the House, the Senate Agriculture Committee is finalizing its own Farm Bill as soon as this week.

Can you help ensure that critical investments in research are expanded?

The Senate Agriculture Committee needs to hear that research investments in organic agriculture and public plant breeding are critical, and that changes to the National Organic Standards Board would harm the integrity of organic.

Contact the Senate Agriculture Committee TODAY in one easy step.

Thank you for sending a message to the committee. Together we can ensure the next Farm Bill supports organic agriculture, public research, and the integrity of the organic standards.
