OSA is pleased to announce that we’re currently accepting applications for two job openings. Please follow the links below to read the full descriptions and for directions on how to apply. And thank you for spreading the word!

Information and Events Coordinator

We are seeking an information and events coordinator to play a vital role in OSA’s work to grow organic seed systems that are democratic and just, support human and environmental health, and deliver genetically diverse and regionally adapted seed to growers. As we work with farmers and program partners from across the country and the globe, our online platforms, information systems and events continue to grow, and these tools are proving crucial to supporting the community we engage in the co-creation of organic seed systems and resources. If you have experience in information technology (IT), project management, event coordination and problem-solving, and are committed to transformative change in our food system, please apply! (Read the full job description here.)

Field Intern

We are seeking a field intern to support our mission work and help transform the food system starting with seed. If you are looking for a farm experience that expands your horizons, join us in cultivating a thriving four-acre research farm while receiving hands-on education in small-scale plant breeding, variety trials, and seed production. The primary responsibility of this position will be to support the daily field operations at OSA’s research farm located at the Finnriver Orchard and Cidery in Chimacum, WA. You will have the opportunity to participate in a season-long online seed production course. (Read the full job description here.)
