Let’s Grow BIG Together

When you give, good things grow

How we grow our food has big impacts on Earth’s climate, human health and food security.

Your gift to Organic Seed Alliance is an opportunity to feel good about giving and to help grow a more resilient future of food.

Every May, we participate in regional days of philanthropy to celebrate Washington based nonprofits called GiveBIG. Your donation during these crucial days of giving, May 2-3, will sow the seeds of a resilient and healthy people and planet.

Early giving is open and you can schedule your donation any time. We need your help to meet a $3,000 match and put your gifts to work for farmers and our regional food system.

Give BIG Today

OSA is dedicating funds raised during GiveBIG to:

  • train more Puget Sound farmers to grow and adapt seed
  • expand our outreach to better understand the seed needs of small-scale farmers from diverse communities across the region
  • enhance the diversity and resilience of organic crops — from field corn for tortillas to spinach for your salad — through organic research that fosters connections between local farmers, university scientists, seed advocates, chefs and communities.
