Organic Seed Alliance participates in GiveBIG Campaign April – May 2024

GiveBIG 2024

Washington Gives recognizes how our lives are enriched by nonprofits that serve every community of Washington State. They coordinate an annual fundraising campaign called GiveBIG to help nonprofits such as Organic Seed Alliance, bring in vital funding to support programs and staff.  We want to give a BIG shout out to all of the generous donors who participated in our GiveBIG campaign in late April and early May. OSA brought in almost $4000 dollars, an increase from our 2023 campaign. And while we didn’t reach our $20,000 goal, we are excited that we were able to grow our campaign over the past years.

Our GiveBIG campaign is an important fundraiser for general operating funds that are vital to support activities that are not grant funded at Organic Seed Alliance. General operating expenses such as administrative work, team building, and addressing and enhancing equity and inclusion, are often overlooked by grants and foundation funds. Unrestricted funding through GiveBIG donations uplifts our staff and shines light on the importance of our organic seed work across research, education, and advocacy programs in Washington and across the country. We retained almost 40% of our 2023 donors and had over 20 online donations during this short campaign.

We are so grateful for all of the support! And if you missed GiveBIG and still want to support OSA, please head over to our website and support our 20th Anniversary Campaign:
