National Organic Standards Board Spring Meeting Coming to Omaha May 12–14, 2026

The National Organic Standards Board spring meeting will be held in person in Omaha, Nebraska this May 12 – 14, 2026. After the disruptions and rescheduling to a virtual meeting in fall 2025, we’re thrilled to be convening in person with the organic community to strengthen and continue to improve the National Organic Program and label.

Spring Meeting Schedule

Day 1: Tuesday, May 12 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT
Day 2: Wednesday, May 13 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT
Day 3: Thursday, May 14 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT

Public Comment via Zoom Webinars and Written Comments

If you are a seed producer, representative of a company selling organic seed, grower using organic seed, plant breeder developing varieties for organic systems, organic certifier, or organic seed policy specialist, please consider submitting written and/or giving comments for the spring meeting.

Sign up to give 3-minute oral testimony to the NOSB by Zoom Webinar. Public comment webinar dates are:

Day 1: Tuesday, May 5 | Noon – 5:00 PM ET
Day 2: Thursday, May 7 | Noon – 5:00 PM ET

The NOSB convenes public meetings twice a year to discuss and vote on proposals that aim to improve and clarify the organic regulations. Whether you can make it to Omaha or not, we encourage you to submit written comments to the Board once the public registrar announcement is published. Detailed meeting information, including agendas, locations, proposals, and how to submit public comments can be found on the NOSB meetings page.
