Bio

Seed rEvolution Now is a mission-driven company promoting the development of organic, public domain, primarily vegetable seed. SrN serves three functions - research, education, and seed production. The research includes conducting and documenting extensive field trials. The education involves public presentations and workshops. Both of these activities are largely underwritten by the Organic Seed Alliance through public and private grants. In contrast, the seed production component has been self-financed since SrN's inception about 5 years ago. SrN's initial activity was brokering seed for other certified organic growers. Over the past two years SrN has been producing its own seed including corn, beans, squash, cucumber, tomato, carrot, onion, beet, broccoli, and Chinese cabbage.
