Farm description:dflower Farm is a 42 acre certified organic diverse farm in Pennington, NJ that organically and sustainably produces certified organic vegetables, soy-free free range and pastured poultry, eggs and lamb. The farm specializes in producing and preserving culturally significant foods and seeds from around the world, especially from war-torn areas. Wildflower maintains unique humane policies for the exceptional care of their animals. The farm also provides weekly fresh produce boxes to local families through the Mercer Street Friends food pantry and is host to The Healing Waters Land Access Project which addresses our current land access and succession crisis by giving qualified new and beginning farmers free access to arable land and pasture. Wildflower Farm is proudly the Mid-Atlantic seedhub (and a seed producer) for the Ujamaa Cooperative Farming Alliance. Ujamaaseeds.com The owner and primary farmer, Tomia MacQueen, is a NJ state certified educator and Board member of the Northeast Farming Association (NOFA-NJ), as well as an Admin member of the Ujamaa Cooperative Farming Alliance. The farm partners with other agricultural experts and educators to provide enriching workshops and memorable experiences on-farm and off. The farm offers workshops and classes on self and community sustainability and conservation in agriculture for K-12 as well as adults and partners with Princeton University and other schools and universities to support current educational curriculums and to provide Garden Education curriculum and school garden / outdoor classroom design help. Wildflower Farm continues to be a labor of love for the MacQueen Family.
